We are proud to offer telemedicine services that connect you quickly to evaluation and emergency medical care by local, board-certified ER providers in our virtual emergency room.
You simply need a smartphone, tablet or computer to be evaluated by a UBMD ER doctor using teleconferencing from wherever you are. With telemedicine, you don’t have to sit in a waiting room with other patients.
UBMD’s emergency telemedicine services are ideal for injuries such as sprains, mild lacerations, and other conditions that are not life-threatening.
For more critical emergencies – those that may be life-threatening – doctors will provide instruction on getting the patient to the nearest ER facility. Our telemedicine ER doctors can call ahead with important information to help the ER facility begin treatment as quickly as possible upon patient arrival.
